Screenfully is designed with privacy as a core principle. Our App works entirely on your device with 100% on-device processing. We do not require accounts, do not upload videos, do not collect personal data, and do not use servers. All recording, editing, and processing happens locally on your device.

Since Screenfully works entirely on-device with no accounts required, we collect minimal information. The information we collect includes:

Usage Data

Recording Data

Screen recordings you create are stored locally on your device. We do not access, upload, or transmit your recordings. All recordings remain on your device unless you choose to share them through your device's native share functionality.

  • iOS: Recordings are saved in the app group container, exports are saved in the Documents folder
  • Android: Recordings and exports are saved in the app-specific directory

Subscription Data

Information related to your subscription status and payment is processed securely through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Screenfully does not store or process payment information directly.

How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and improve the App's functionality
  • Process subscription payments through Apple or Google
  • Send important updates and notifications (if you opt in)
  • Provide customer support

Since your recordings never leave your device, they are protected by your device's built-in security features. You are responsible for backing up your recordings and exports. Screenfully is not responsible for any loss of data.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but since Screenfully processes everything on-device, your recordings are not transmitted over the internet and are not stored on our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not share your recordings because we never have access to them—they remain on your device.

We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

  • To protect and defend our rights or property
  • With your explicit consent
  • With service providers who assist in app functionality (such as Apple or Google for payment processing) under strict confidentiality agreements

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Since we collect minimal information and do not require accounts, there is limited data to retain.

Your screen recordings are stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete them through the App or your device's file management system. We do not have access to your recordings, so we cannot delete them for you.

If you request deletion of any information we hold about you, we will delete it within 30 days, except for information that we are required to retain for legal, accounting, or audit purposes.

International Data Transfers

Screenfully is based in the Philippines, but our App is available worldwide. Since Screenfully works entirely on-device with no accounts required, minimal data is collected and transferred.

Any limited information we collect may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, since your recordings never leave your device, they are not subject to international data transfers.
